Teacher Workshops
Our Professional Development Workshops are facilitated by experienced trainers who have delivered our student wellbeing programs across hundreds of schools and many types of settings.
97% of teachers surveyed rate Stride's programs as 'Very Good' or 'Excellent'.
99% of workshop participants feel fully equipped to put programs into practice after attending a Stride workshop.
Revved Up
Turning angry energy into positive action. An anger management initiative initially for boys, but relevant to all students to help young people recognise their own responses to different stressful situations that occur in everyday life.
MPower Girls
When we think of aggression or anger in the school yard we often associate it with boys, however it is increasingly apparent that girls are just as capable of bullying and aggression. MPower Girls explores the relationship girls have with each other and the secret world of girls' aggression. Dealing with bulling cliques and how girls relate to each other.
CyberS@vvy
A cyber bullying prevention program for schools that provides students with skills and knowledge to help them deal with issues related to cyber bullying.
Peer Support
This program has been proven to positively impact schools by developing a sense of connectedness within age groups. Peer mentoring teaches students to assist one another and to seek adult help when necessary.
Peer Mediation
Teaches all students to resolve low-level conflicts using their peers as mediators. Mediation opens up communication channels and allows the disagreeing students to discuss their problems with the guidance of mediators and come to a resolution that suits both parties.
All of our Professional Development Workshops are full day running 9am to 3pm. Registration opens at 8:45am.
Fees are $295 for Gold Members of our Loyalty Club or $354 for others.
